Jon Pierre Gee Vocalist - Songwriter – Entrepreneur - Producer

 Jon’s professional singing career began in 1958 playing drums and bongo's in what was called a spiritualist santified "Church of All Nations" at the time by late 60's his singing and showmanship began to take center stage as a lead singer Jon performed with and formed some of the most popular bands thru-out the 60's,70's and opened with most of the major acts that came to Milwaukee to performed James Brown, Ike and Tina Turner, Al Green, Moms Mabley, Pigmeat Markum, The Temptations, B.B. King.

• Founder & President Kandi Music  1985  songwriting, music publishing, theater ownership, licensing,  Artists Management entertainment/promotion company.
•  1989 Kathryn Hannemann as Vice-president and musical partner aka Kat Webb  Kandi International Inc released the 13 song CD "The Time Is Now" by Jon Pierre Gee and Touch.
•  1995 Jon produced Wikkedness  a  popular female Hip Hop group's song “Playa’s Ball”  later  featured song in the HBO cult cable classic 'Pimp Up Ho’s Down'
• Producing, writing, arranging Jon Pierre's  proven to be a consistent entertainer and exciting live performer thru-out the 60's 70's 80's 90's and today.  Musical  and vocal diversity you can expect, an entertaining & passionate show  with heartfelt classic R&B, Soul, Jazz, blues, funk n rock tunes and songs from the CD "The Time Is Now'
• Jon is also performing as lead vocalist with the reassembled and renamed Motown group  Billy "Stix" Nix & Jr. Walker’s All-Star Band.  Kat Webb sings with this group as one of the background singers.

There runs strong traditions and musical roots thru this family blues singer & songwriter  legend Percy Mayfield, on his mother’s side, in 50"s was called the Poet of the Blues, hits include “ Please send Me Someone to Love,” “Hit the Road Jack,” for Ray Charles,  Jon’s father, roots extend to “Empress of the Blues” singer Bessie Smith.

• Singer/songwriter/music business entrepreneur, Jon has worked with the musical Rock n'Roll,Soul, latin and reggae legends of our time through out his career Jerry Butler, Pete Escovedo, The Tubes, Drummer Aynsley Dunbar (Journey, Frank Zappa), Chi-lites, The Contours, Freda Payne, Four Tops, Martha Reeves, Chuck Negron (Three Dog Night) and Reggae legends Toots & the Maytels/ Bob Marley.
•  Ah'VANTSOUL  Jon and Kat's new musical performance vehicle, is a musical blend of middle eastern, gospel, classic R&B, soul, country, rock, "smooth" jazz, funk and electronic technology original music named Ah'vantSoul. The new CD is now available online and retail stores locally.
